Less repeated explanation.
I want AI to reduce the amount of explaining and documenting people have to do just to keep their work understandable.
AI gets more useful when it can understand the reality that matters beyond one conversation.
ForwardCanon began with real, ongoing work: increasingly capable AI, and useful context that was still getting lost between conversations and across systems.

I kept running into the same problem while using AI on real work: the AI was getting more capable, but the context around the work was still fragile.
A conversation could be incredibly useful, but the next conversation might need the same project explained again. Decisions lived in one place, source data in another, responsibilities somewhere else, and important details often depended on a person remembering how everything fit together.
I didn't want to build another AI assistant. There are already companies doing an extraordinary job building the intelligence.
What I wanted was a better way to give that intelligence the reality it needs to help.
That became ForwardCanon: a way to maintain the context, sources, decisions, authority, and unresolved questions that deserve to survive beyond a single conversation—and make that understanding available to the agents people already want to use.
I want AI to reduce the amount of explaining and documenting people have to do just to keep their work understandable.
I want answers to be connected to evidence instead of becoming true because an AI said them confidently.
I want people to know what the AI can see, what it can change, and where the human still has to decide.
Most of all, I want better context to create more freedom for the person using it. Knowing where you stand makes it easier to decide where you want to go.
I don't think the most valuable part of someone's relationship with AI should disappear when they start a new chat or switch to a better model.
ForwardCanon should be something that gets more valuable as AI improves.
If we do this well, people won't feel like they are constantly managing ForwardCanon. They'll simply be able to work with AI at a higher level because the important parts of their reality are already there when they need them.

The goal is for customers to understand and maintain their own Canon, with less dependence on the founder, a Canon Specialist, a Business Engineer, or any one AI provider. Human help should make that independence easier to reach.
ForwardCanon is early. This is the direction we’re building toward; self-service accounts, agent connections, shared controls, and Canon View are still in development. Compatibility with every AI provider and finished automation are not promised.
These intentions guide what we build. Evidence, customer authority, and the product’s technical boundaries still govern what the system may claim or do.
Start with what you want to accomplish. Your agent helps establish the scope; human help is there when you want it.
